It is slated for the wekend of April 18th. It will be a typical marathon for K1 and canoe, but surf skis are more tham welcome. stay tuned for this event. Keep checking out our website for updates on this and a lot more races for all types of boats. www.gorowandpaddle.org. we are hosting an event this weekend (Saturday Dec 13th) its a 9km race inside the Gorge plus a 3 x 3km relay...will be lots of boats on the water OC1, OC2, marathon canoe, K1, K2, and of course surf ski...great racing, great refeshments, great awards and prizes. all for a measly $15.00 plus a food donation for the food bank. When the tentative race schedule was approved we still didn't have the dates for the PNWORCA winter race series (I just guessed the FCRCC date). Jericho will be hosting their PNWORCA race on January 24th. Here are the other dates: January 10th - Lake Union, Seattle Hui Wa‚a O Wakinikona January 24th - B.C. Canada Jericho OCC February 7th - Portland, OR. Mountain Home CC February 21st - Silverdale, Washington Hui Heihei Wa‚a March 7th - B.C. Canada False Creek OCC March 21st - Portland, Oregon Kai Ikaika CC April 4th – Championship Race - Seattle, Washington Sail Sand Point OCC Just a note that the January Jericho event is still on.
